Fiona McKeever is an Executive and Leadership Coach.

An experienced lawyer, including 12 years as a partner in Arthur Cox, she retired from Arthur Cox in 2018 to focus on developing leaders. She typically works with senior professionals, such as CEO, MD, Partner, at key career transitions and on different aspects of their leadership. Her clients operate across professional services, financial services, manufacturing, media, and secondary level education. She has prepared leaders for promotions and supported managers and leaders to take on new responsibilities, manage stakeholders, develop client relationships and teams. She sits on the Steering Committee of a mentoring programme for women in financial services, set up by EY, BNY Mellon and MetLife in 2018.

For five years, Fiona was responsible for professional development in Arthur Cox. During this period, she developed her expertise in executive and leadership coaching, and was shortlisted for several UK and Ireland L&D awards.

Fiona’s legal experience means that she understands the context within which many professionals, particularly women, experience their career. As a previous sponsor of coaching programmes, she also understands an organisation’s requirements in leadership development. This combination of experience allows her to pay close attention to both the individual and organisation needs from a coaching programme.

Between 1999 and 2013, Fiona practised EU and Irish competition and merger control law, becoming a partner in Arthur Cox in 2007. During this time she worked with international clients and many of Ireland‘s largest companies, which operate across a wide range of sectors including commercial property, FMCG, financial services, healthcare, media, pharma, retail, and technology. Chambers Europe recognised her as one of Europe's leading competition lawyers between 2004 and 2014.

Fiona has a LL.B in Law and French, is admitted to the Rolls of Solicitors in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. She has been awarded a Diploma in Executive and Leadership Coaching, accredited by the Association for Coaching, and is qualified in psychometric tools, including Insights Discovery and Lumina Spark.
